I have actually tested this using the deck with laptop and Adobe Audition and also tested with Audacity and it works perfectly.

Make sure if you plan to use this to record out to a PC or MAC to but the MXP124FX, it was not obvious to me at first, on the product list at top choose 12 Channel with Effects, I ordered wrong one first but it was replaced quickly.
